This year The Game Awards will feature three categories to recognize the biggest names and games in eSports.  Winners will be determined by fan votes. The nominees are:

FINAL EXPANSION TO STARCRAFT II REVEALED BY BLIZZARD

Blizzard announced the final installment of the StarCraft II trilogy, Legacy of the Void.

“Blizzard said that the standalone expansion will also include new multiplayer features such as the Automated Tournament where players will engage in daily tournaments open to everyone, all over the globe, to battle for glory and race domination.”

Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao are at the same Heat game.. Are they friends now?

“Mayweather and Pacquiao attend the same basketball game” is the closest we’ve ever come to a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight.

Frequent NBA attendee Floyd Mayweather is at Tuesday night’s game between the Heat and the Bucks. Manny Pacquiao is also at Tuesdaynight’s game between the Heat and the Bucks. The Heat decided to put them together on the big screen:

Bob Arum says Floyd Mayweather Jr. is afraid of Manny Pacquiao’s lethal left hand which is why mega-bout is not yet sealed

Bob Arum the top honcho of Top Rank which promotes the fights of Filipino boxing superstar Manny Pacman Pacquiao revealed one big reason why undefeated American boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr is afraid of the Filipino is due to lethal left hand of the latter.

Arum said as the former boxing promoter of Mayweather he is fully aware that the American is afraid of fighting left handed boxers. He said what is more challenging for Mayweather against Pacquiao is the fact that he is not only a left handed boxer but also very fast as well.

The real problem is that Mayweather is so damn smart when it comes to boxing and he realises that of all the fighters fought and all the fighters out there that Manny poses the biggest threat. Why? Because Manny is fast, Manny can punch and Manny is left handed. Floyd never wants to fight a left handed fighter because his style is designed to fight orthodox fighters,” Arum said.

Arum said to convinced Mayweather to fight Pacquiao is a big challenge since the American is fully aware to the fact that the Filipino congressman from Sarangani province Philippines has a big chance of defeating him.

The widely popular boxing promoter said Mayweather knows that his dream of retiring undefeated in the boxing ring is in big jeopardy if he agrees to fight Pacquiao now.

Despite the huge roadblock of arranging a dream bout between Mayweather and Pacquiao, Pacquiao said he and his team will still do their best to convinced Mayweather to fight Pacquiao in 2015.
