Major Gaming Studios in the Philippines?

Interaksyon recently reported that 4 of the major gaming studio internationally might start opening doors for locally.

According to Alvin Juban, president of the Game Development Association of the Philippines, said they are now helping the prospective investors find probable local partners.

Once this is finalized they will immediately need 300 jobs on the Creative Segment , so for creative professionals start building your porfolio coz anytime soon you might land your dream job in some of the most popular gaming studios, the likes of Ubisoft, Electronic Arts, Blizzard Entertainment, Microsoft Game Studios, China-based Tencent, Square Enix, Sony Computer Entertainment, Bandai, Sega, Nintendo, and Namco.

The reason behind this is China is becoming very expensive for this industry that’s why Gaming studios are trying to find new hubs to relocate their manpower.

FINAL EXPANSION TO STARCRAFT II REVEALED BY BLIZZARD

Blizzard announced the final installment of the StarCraft II trilogy, Legacy of the Void.

“Blizzard said that the standalone expansion will also include new multiplayer features such as the Automated Tournament where players will engage in daily tournaments open to everyone, all over the globe, to battle for glory and race domination.”

(SPOILER ALERT) Pinoy act wins Asia’s Got Talent

It has been widely discussed on Twitter that the winner of Asia’s Got Talent is one of the four acts from the Philippines.

El Gamma Penumbra is said to be the winner of the pan-regional talent search, Asia’s Got Talent.

The finale episode will be aired at 8 p.m. tonight on TV channel AXN.

It has also been revealed that Khusugtun, composed of six Mongolian singers, landed on the No. 2 slot.

The No. 3 slot went to Filipina singer Gerphil Flores, who previously said she wants to dedicate a portion of her prize money to reviving interest in classical music.

Asia’s Got Talent is hosted by Marc Nelson and Rovilson Fernandez. The judges were Grammy-winning musician David Foster, Taiwanese-American heatthrob Vanness Wu (of F4 fame), former Spice Girl Melanie C., and Indonesian rock icon Anggun.
